Good Samaritan In The Street
Good Samaritan in the Street – A photo of a man riding a vehicle now goes viral as because of a good deed he has made to another person in Manila.
Even with the feeling of being unsafe in the streets of Manila nowadays, there are still good souls ready to give a “breathe of fresh air” with the current situation in the city.
A TV host and motoring journalist James Deakin posted the said photo in his Facebook page as requested by his friend Dr. JV Jauringue.
Jauringue said in the description of the post that he was dropping his daughter at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (CSB) when her daughter unknowingly dropped her phone.
After that, a man driving an SUV went on his right handing an iPhone to Jauringue. At first, he admitted in an interview on ABS-CBN that he is at first, reluctant as he thought that it is a kind of a modus and he will become a victim.
“When I reached a stop, the couple went on my right side trying to hand me an iPhone. I then realized it was my daughter’s,” Jauringue said.
Together with the man, a smiling woman was there in the vehicle next to Dr. Jauringue.
“I figured, these are genuinely nice people and were just trying to help,” Jauringue said.
Overwhelmed with the good deed, he thanked the two strangers but was unable to get their names. Instead, he was able to get a photo of the ‘Good Samaritan’ in the street.
After the photo has been posted on Deakin’s page, the identity of the two Good Samaritan’s have been identified to be Engr. Gabriel Delim and his wife, Merriem Delim.
What can you say about what these Good Samaritans did? Having people like them would really give a great impact to the whole society.
