Open Letter Of Senator Leila De Lima to President Duterte
After previous reactions on extrajudicial kil1ings, Senator Leila de Lima writes an open letter to President Duterte regarding the hearing on the said matter.
Sen. de Lima has been actively criticizing the alleged rising number of extrajudicial kil1ings happening the Philippines as President Duterte started rolling his campaign against illegal drugs and crime.
De Lima, on her Facebook page, wrote an Open letter to President Duterte.
In the open letter, de Lima pointed out that the President needs to focus on the hearings at the Senate regarding the kil1ings and said that people wanted to know the truth behind it.
According to her, there are people who are just camouflaging to the police operations to make the kil1ings appear to be from the government campaign against drugs and crime.
She added that everyone wanted to resolve the issue of drugs and crime in the country by making laws to assist the authorities in implementing laws accordingly.
Lastly, she tackled that like the President and of everyone, the law system in the country needs to be strengthened to secure the law enforcement and the rights of people.

De Lima…Our President knows what he’s doing..No need to inform him of these things….no need to teach him what to do because from the time he sit as a President….he knows who’s really the enemy in our Society. Too late kahit maghugas kamay ka pa sa mga kapabayaan mo during your DOJ term… nobody will listen to you except those people who are blind by your hypocrisy. Its time now that whatever you hide in secret will come out. No one is above the law of God.
