Senate President Franklin “Big Man” Drilon has topped the recently released “Bilang Pilipino SWS Mobile Survey” for senatorial candidates after scoring 63 percent.
Sen. Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan landed on the second spot with 61 percent. Both senators are under the Liberal Party.
Sen. Vicente “Tito” Sotto III, who’s under the Nationalist People’s Coalition gained 56 percent rating which held him on the 3rd place.
Representative Sherwin Gatchalian, former Sen. Juan Miguel Zubiri and former DOJ secretary Leila de Lima tied after scoring 50 percent.
Sen. Sergio Osmeña III with 47 percent and former TESDA head Joel Villanueva with 41 percent completed that list of top 12 most liked senatorial candidates.
Boxing superstar and Sarangani Congressman Manny “PacMan” Pacquiao was not able to clinch on the top 12 after accumulating 39 percent which held him on the 13th spot.
Meanwhile, here’s the complete list of “Bilang Pilipino SWS Mobile Survey” for senatorial candidates.
Conducted last April 1, 2016, the senatorial survey was administered among 1,200 registered voters with 300 each coming from the Balance of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao and Metro Manila.
In a report published by Philstar.com, only 727 or approximately 61 percent responded out of 1,200 validated voters. 178 in Balance of Luzon, 193 in Visayas, 162 in Mindanao and 194 in Metro Manila.
“The sample was drawn using standard SWS sampling procedures, and was first interviewed face-to-face on March 8-11, 2016 to become the panel for the mobile survey,” the Social Weather Stations (SWS) noted.
