SWS survey result shows a lesser percentage of Filipinos who rate themselves as poor this 2016 compared to 2010 and 1987.
SWS SURVEY RESULT – A survey conducted by Social Weather Stations on Filipinos who consider themselves as poor has changes as compared to previous results.
With the existing reality of squatter areas in almost all parts of the country, loitering children who don’t have the opportunity to be sent to school, and number of crimes committed by some who said they made it out of urgent needs, the face of poverty is really undeniable somehow.
Usually, it would be a surprise to hear Filipino people who would brag that they have much or does not recognize poverty in their lives. It could be due to a humble nature or indeed a reality of being above the level.
Recently, one report stated about a survey conducted to check on the citizens who consider themselves poor.
