Reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases through biking regularly, whether for transportation or for fun, according to the studies.
Recent studies show that cycling for transportation or for fun is good for the heart and has a lower risk of obtaining cardiovascular diseases than people who don’t spend time in cycling. Previous studies also documented the health benefits of biking regularly.
Anders Grontved, a senior author of one of the studies said that most people think doing regular structured exercise is being physically active, but this mindset can be a huge barrier to an active lifestyle.
Grontved is also a researcher at the University of Southern Denmark in Odense said that cycling is extremely great for a person’s health, in the result of their research.
