However, there are many concerns about the negative impact that AI may have on us, one of which is the potential loss of jobs due to AI.
Recently, a surprising news story emerged after an AI website called “Midjourney” announced that it had used the Shroud of Turin to reveal the appearance of Jesus Christ.
So, what is the Shroud of Turin, also known as the Holy Shroud? It’s a piece of linen that has been claimed for centuries to be the burial cloth of Jesus Christ. Since 1578, it has been preserved in the royal chapel of the Cathedral of San Giovanni Battista in Turin, Italy. The shroud measures 4.3 meters (14 feet 3 inches) long and 1.1 meters (3 feet 7 inches) wide. On it, there appear to be faint brownish images, depicting the back and front of a slender, sunken-eyed man who stands 5 feet 7 inches tall. It seems as though one half of the shroud covered a body lengthwise while the other half was folded over the head to cover the entire front of the body, from the face to the feet. The images on the shroud are said to bear marks corresponding to the crucifixion wounds of Jesus, including thorn marks on the head, back lacerations (as if from flogging), shoulder bruises, and various stains presumed to be blood.
It’s possible that for hundreds or even thousands of years, people have sought to study and research the true appearance of the Lord. Now, in the age of AI, it is claimed that the Shroud of Turin has revealed the true face of Jesus. Whether this revelation is genuine or if the depicted face merely resembles the Lord as he was resurrected and became human is a matter of personal belief. Source
