Liza Soberano’s first Hollywood movie, “Lisa Frankenstein,” is scheduled to be released on February 9, 2024, according to the film’s social media page.
The movie is about a teenager portrayed by Kathryn Newton (“Pokémon Detective Pikachu,” “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania”), who falls in love with a handsome corpse played by Cole Sprouse (“The Suite Life of Zack & Cody,” “Riverdale”). After a series of humorous events that bring him back to life, the two of them embark on a journey filled with crime to find love, happiness, and some missing body parts along the way.
Soberano’s involvement in this project was first announced in August. The Filipino-American actress proudly shared on her social media in September that they had completed shooting the film.
“Lisa Frankenstein” was directed by Zelda Williams and written by Diablo Cody, who won an Oscar for Best Screenplay for the film “Juno.”
