Ed Sheeran’s Spectacular Return to Manila: The Mathematics Tour Unveiled

The British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran visited Manila for the first time in four years as he brought his extensive “Mathematics” or “+ – = รท x” tour to Asia next year.

Ed’s visit to Manila took place at SMDC Festival Grounds on March 9, with fellow British artist and “Britain’s Got Talent” alumnus Calum Scott as a special guest throughout the Asian tour.

Some of the other destinations in Asia included two Japanese cities, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and India. Manila was Ed’s penultimate stop in Asia before his performance in Mumbai the following week.

This marked Ed’s third visit to the Philippines, following his previous performances in 2015 and 2018.

Earlier this year, Ed released two albums – “-” “Subtract” and “Autumn Variations,” along with a documentary series about his life titled “The Sum of it All” on a streaming platform.

“Subtract” featured the single “Eyes Closed,” while “Autumn Variations” consisted of songs inspired by the changing moments in his and his friends’ lives.
