It’s unlikely for us to imagine Enrique Gil having a profound love for shoes, but recently, he showcased some treasures from his collection to the public. In a vlog by Dane Grospe, which served as a glimpse into Enrique’s limited edition and curated collection, fans were astonished by the value of some of his footwear.
One of Enrique’s featured items was his Air Mug Customized Two Iron Man Shoes, a limited edition that he claimed to have only three pairs of in the entire world. These shoes were painted by a renowned artist specializing in shoe customization, well-known in the footwear industry. Initially spotted by Apple De Ap and Nick Robinsons in a popular shoe store, it caught their attention, but unfortunately, it didn’t fit Apple. Nick, on the other hand, had no intention of coming to the Philippines to make the purchase, leaving the shoes on display as part of a collection. However, due to Enrique’s courage and determination, he successfully negotiated and acquired the shoes for the price of 70,000 pesos.
Enrique proudly wore the shoes only once for a photoshoot, immediately preserving them as part of his collection. When the opportunity arose to purchase them, Enrique didn’t hesitate. The owner of the store where the shoes were displayed happened to be a close friend and childhood companion, and through their relationship, Enrique was presented with the chance to buy them.
Starting at 1.2 million pesos, the value escalated to 1.5 million pesos after a Coin Toss event. Following the transaction, Enrique announced his venture into film production under his production company. He became one of the producers of the film “I Am Not Big Bird.” This marked a significant stride for Enrique in the showbiz industry, demonstrating how he adeptly balances his humility with success in his career.
