Miss Universe Organization has recently revealed that they are searching a Filipina to co-host the Prestigious pageant with American TV host-comedian Steve Harvey.
Miss Universe Organization confirmed that their decision is final about the American TV host-comedian Steve Harvey to host the International beauty tilt in Manila next month.
Sunday, December 11, 2016, the Department of Tourism Secretary Wanda Tulfo-Teo in an interview shared that the organization will have a Filipina will co-host the Miss Universe beauty pageant with American actor-host Steve Harvey.
In a report of Inquirer.nert, Teo said that they already chose someone to be the female counterpart of Harvey but she said that they don’t want to reveal who it is yet.
“Definite na si Steve Harvey will be the host. We’re looking for babaeng counterpart niya. Mayroon na kaming napili. Ayaw pa lang sabihin kung sino,” Teo said over radio DZMM.
Teo explained that having a co-host would prevent a repeat of the previous edition’s blunder of announcing the wrong winner. Wherein Steve Harvey made a mistake for reading the wrong winner during the Miss Universe 2015 in Las Vegas, USA.
In an episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, December 5, American comedian Steve Harvey confirmed that he will still be part of Miss Universe 2016.
The Philippines will be hosting the international pageant at the Mall of Asia (MOA) Arena on January 30, 2017.
