Hidilyn Diaz Got Her New House Located In “Hidilyn Diaz St.”
The Olympic medalist Hidilyn Diaz got her new house at Deca Homes 8990 Holding that can be located at the street named after her.
Diaz is a Filipino weightlifter woman who nabs the silver medal at the Rio Olympics 2016. It is the first medal won by the Philippines after 2 decades. She is the first female athlete who wins an Olympic medal for the country.
She won the silver medal in the women’s 53 kg weight division on the 2016 summer Olympic, which gives another achievement for the Philippines. Aside from her achievement in 2016, she had been earning different awards since 2006 up to the present time.
Hidilyn is the 5th of the six children of Eduardo and Emelita Diaz in Zamboanga City. Her cousin taught her the basics of weightlifting until she was discovered and start competing on several events.
In 2006, Hidilyn achieved the 10th place on the 2006 Asian Games in the 53 kg class. In the 2007 SEA Games in Thailand, she had won the bronze medal while representing Universidad de Zamboanga during her college.
Diaz also competes under the 58 kg division of women’s weightlifting and ranked 9th on the 2012 London Olympics, but she failed to lift the 118 kg clean and jerk after three attempts. The official result of the event ended of “Did Not Finish” (DNF).
Hidilyn avenges her lost on the 2016 Rio Olympic after successfully lifting up the 112 kg clean and jerk on her first and second attempt, which enable her to claim the silver medal in the event.
Due to her hard work, the athlete was able to buy her new house from Deca Homes 8990 Holdings. Her new house can be found at the “Hidilyn Diaz St.” that was named after her. Diaz earlier got the keys to her new house.
