Forecast Weather Conditions:
- Ilocos Region, Batanes, and Babuyan Islands: Cloudy skies with scattered rain and thunderstorms are expected, primarily due to the Southwest Monsoon. Residents should remain vigilant, as there is a possibility of flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rainfall.
- Cordillera Administrative Region and the rest of Cagayan Valley: Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms are anticipated. These weather conditions are also caused by the Southwest Monsoon. Severe thunderstorms may trigger flash floods or landslides in vulnerable areas.
- Metro Manila and the rest of the country: Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms are forecasted. These localized thunderstorms could result in flash floods or landslides, particularly during severe weather episodes.
Wind and Coastal Water Conditions:
- Northern and Central Luzon: Light to moderate winds blowing from the southwest will prevail, and coastal waters will range from slight to moderate, with waves between 0.6 to 2.1 meters.
- The rest of the country: Light to moderate winds coming from the south to southwest are expected. Coastal waters in these areas will also remain slight to moderate, with wave heights between 0.6 to 1.5 meters.
Regional Forecast:
In the Visayas, Palawan (including Kalayaan Islands), and Occidental Mindoro, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to localized weather disturbances are expected. Light to moderate winds from the south to southwest will prevail, and seas will be slight to moderate.
Residents in affected areas are advised to stay updated on the latest weather bulletins from Pagasa and take necessary precautions, especially in areas prone to floods or landslides.
