Security officer Earl Nerona Pressman has broken his silence regarding allegations of misconduct in a viral video involving actress Marian Rivera. Pressman, accused of inappropriate behavior, defended himself in a Facebook post, clarifying the incident and urging the public not to jump to conclusions.
In his statement, Pressman said the viral video had been misinterpreted by netizens. He denied claims that Marian had told him, “Kuya kanina ka pa,” as widely speculated.
Siksikan talaga ang mga tao at lahat ay halos gusto malalapit kay Marian,” Pressman wrote, adding that his role was to ensure the actress’s safety in the crowded event. He noted that his actions were aimed at preventing anyone from harassing her further.
Pressman also addressed why he was seen leaning in closely, explaining it was due to the noise and overcrowding. According to him, his colleague had whispered to ask about crowd control, prompting him to lean closer to hear.
The security officer also dismissed allegations of inappropriate behavior, stating that Marian’s supposed reaction was directed at another person in the crowd attempting to get closer to her.
To support his claims, Pressman shared a photo taken with Marian Rivera in the event’s holding area, where the two reportedly had a brief conversation about crowd control. He said the photo proved there were no issues between them.

Finally, he called on the public to stop spreading misinformation and to consider the impact of such actions on individuals like him. Huwag kayo maging one sided kung hindi naman ninyo alam ang kabuuan ng story,” he pleaded, revealing that the incident had happened six months prior and the original videos had already been removed.
Pressman concluded by appealing for understanding, stating that the controversy had unfairly damaged his reputation as a hardworking individual.
