BTS star J-Hope is set to return to the Philippines in April for a highly anticipated two-night concert at the Mall of Asia Arena, his label BigHit Music announced Friday.
The concerts are part of the 30-year-old rapper and dancer’s “Hope on the Stage” tour. BigHit unveiled the news through its social media pages, sharing a vibrant poster that outlined the tour stops and corresponding dates. While ticketing details for the Manila leg have not yet been released, fans are already eagerly preparing for what promises to be a spectacular show.
This event marks the first time a BTS member will grace the Philippine concert scene since the group’s “Wings” tour in 2017, which also took place at the Mall of Asia Arena. J-Hope’s return is seen as a major moment for Filipino ARMYs (fans of BTS), many of whom have been waiting years for such an opportunity.
J-Hope, whose real name is Jung Ho-seok, will kick off his solo tour in late February with a three-day concert series in Seoul, South Korea. Following the Seoul shows, he will travel to North America and Asia, as detailed in the tour announcement. Manila is among the select Asian cities included in the tour, further highlighting the Philippines as a key destination for global artists.
A founding member of BTS, J-Hope debuted in 2013 and has since become a global icon, both as part of the group and as a solo artist.
