SAMPLE LETTER FOR TREE PLANTING – Here’s a format and example of a letter asking permission to do this environment-related activity in school.
Generally, both two types of letters are used for recording and proper documentation. At school, one of the activities often done that is related to the environment is the tree planting activity. This is done to raise awareness among students, encourage them to take action, to be educated and informed, and foster community engagement.

Dear Parents,
Good day! The Junior High School Department is set to hold its annual tree planting activity at Cabacungan Mangrove in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental this coming December 17, 2020. This activity aims to help the fight to save the environment by planting more trees and nurturing the students’ love and awareness of nature.
The said tree planting activity will run from 8:00 in the morning until 12:00 noon. After that, the children will be given an hour to have their lunch and a little rest before gathering at the gym at 1:30 in the afternoon. They will be attending an environment awareness symposium until 3:30 p.m.
The bus is set to leave the sit at 3:45 p.m. so the kids will be in school for the dismissal at 4:00 p.m. In line with it, we would like to ask your permission if you allow your son/daughter to join the said activity.
Kindly make a confirmation through a waiver. Thank you.
Respectfully yours,
