Sparkle GMA Artist Center has finally spoken out following Jackie Forster’s public confirmation of the breakup between her son, basketball player Kobe Paras, and actress Kyline Alcantara.
The statement aired on 24 Oras Monday evening and was posted across Sparkle’s official social media platforms. According to the agency, Kyline Alcantara is choosing to stay silent and move forward from the issue that has drawn widespread attention online.
“Kyline would like to move on with this issue. She has chosen to keep her peace and maintain the respect for the people who have been part of her life. She hopes we can all move on and put this issue to rest,” the statement read.
This comes just a day after Jackie Forster posted a lengthy message on social media confirming the breakup. In her post, Jackie claimed that the relationship started deteriorating as early as January 2025, following a trip to the United States where Kyline met Kobe’s family.
Jackie also responded to circulating rumors accusing Kobe of cheating. She expressed concern that Kyline’s camp was enabling false narratives online that cast her son in a negative light. “I’m confused as to why Kyline and the people on her side are allowing Kobe to look like he’s a cheater, and she just wants to keep quiet to protect her own peace,” Jackie said.
She also clarified the issue of Kobe using Kyline’s car, explaining that the actress had lent it to him temporarily while his vehicle was under repair.
Despite the public scrutiny, Jackie noted that Kobe has chosen to move on, even if it seems too soon for some. “People can judge and hate Kobe for quickly moving on, but I think that’s better than loving someone while pretending to be somebody that they’re not,” she added.
Kyline and Kobe were first confirmed to be dating in November 2024, and the actress introduced Kobe to her parents the following month. The pair even spent Christmas together with Kyline’s family.
