According to three separate proclamations signed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin on June 23, 2025, the holidays are as follows:

July 1, 2025 – Declared as a special non-working holiday in the municipality of Magsaysay, Misamis Oriental, under Proclamation No. 945. The date marks the town’s founding anniversary, and the holiday allows residents to commemorate its establishment through local activities and festivities.

July 14, 2025 – Under Proclamation No. 946, a special non-working holiday has been set in Guihulngan City, Negros Oriental, in observance of its charter anniversary. The city will celebrate its historical transition into a chartered city, with events expected to highlight its growth and development.

July 26, 2025Proclamation No. 947 designates this date as a special non-working day in Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay, for the celebration of the 76th Araw ng Ipil. The celebration is anticipated to include parades, cultural shows, and community programs, showcasing the heritage and progress of the municipality.

These local holidays aim to allow residents to participate in their respective towns and cities’ celebrations. Government agencies and private employers in the affected areas are advised to observe the proclamations accordingly.

Malacañang frequently declares special holidays for local anniversaries to support civic pride and community participation, while reminding the public that pay rules set by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) apply during special non-working days.
