Michelle Dee Filed Blotter Report First in Case Involving Rhian Ramos’ Driver

An escalating legal dispute involving beauty queen Michelle Dee, actress Rhian Ramos, and a driver has drawn public attention after it was revealed that Dee had filed a barangay blotter report days before the driver lodged complaints of his own.

According to records from Barangay Urdaneta in Makati City, Michelle Dee personally appeared at the barangay on January 18 at around 5:00 a.m. to report an alleged incident involving the driver of her close friend, Rhian Ramos. In her blotter report, Dee claimed that the driver physically harmed her following a confrontation related to an alleged theft inside her condominium unit.

The beauty queen stated in the report that the driver “physically harmed me on my right arm, which left bruises, scratches, and nail marks.” Barangay desk officer Reynan Garcia confirmed that Dee showed visible injuries at the time of her report. “May pasa siya dito, pinakita niya sa’kin. Sinaktan daw siya,” Garcia said, adding that Dee was advised to undergo a medical examination to document her injuries.

Dee also narrated a dramatic attempt by the driver to escape the scene. She alleged that he tried to flee from the 39th floor of her condominium by climbing down using a gondola rope, passing through another unit, and eventually reaching the street before being apprehended and brought back.

However, on January 29, the driver filed a separate complaint before the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), accusing Dee, Ramos, and another beauty queen friend of mauling and illegal detention. He claimed that he was beaten and threatened, alleging, “Bigla akong hinawakan at binugbog sa loob… narinig ko na tatapusin nila ako kaya tumalon ako sa 39th floor.” He further asserted that he was falsely accused of stealing sensitive photos of the actress.

The camp of Dee and Ramos has strongly denied these allegations. Their legal counsel, Atty. Maggie Garduque emphasized that Dee was in Iloilo on January 17 and only returned to Manila in the early hours of January 18, which aligns with the timing of the blotter report. She also pointed out that by January 19, the driver was already at the Makati City Police Station for inquest proceedings and had undergone a medical examination.

“No signs of said mauling were seen during his medical examination,” Garduque said, noting discrepancies between the driver’s claims and his reported injuries. She added that the alleged wounds he cited were not visible in media interviews.

Meanwhile, the legal teams of Dee and Ramos are preparing to file countercases for libel and perjury, maintaining that the driver’s statements are inconsistent with official records and medical findings.
