Weather Conditions

Cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms are expected over the Zamboanga Peninsula, Palawan, Basilan, and Tawi-Tawi due to the prevailing easterlies. Residents in these areas are advised to remain alert for possible flash floods or landslides, especially in low-lying and mountainous locations, as moderate to at times heavy rains may occur.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms. While most areas may have generally fair weather conditions for the day, localized thunderstorms may develop, particularly in the afternoon or evening. Severe thunderstorms could bring sudden heavy downpours, increasing the risk of flash floods or landslides in vulnerable communities.

Wind and Coastal Water Conditions

For the eastern sections of Luzon and Visayas, moderate to strong winds blowing from the east to northeast will prevail. Coastal waters in these areas will be moderate to rough, with wave heights ranging from 1.5 to 2.8 meters. Small sea vessels are advised to exercise caution when venturing out to sea.

In the rest of the country, winds will be light to moderate coming from the east to northeast. Coastal waters will be slight to moderate, with wave heights between 0.6 and 2.5 meters. Fishing boats and other small watercraft are encouraged to remain vigilant, especially during thunderstorms.
