Warriors Wins Over Rockets In Playoff Opening, Curry Got Injured

Golden State Warriors together with Stephen Curry stunned the Houston Rockets in the first game of the NBA Playoffs.

The game scored to 104-78 in favor of the Warriors. Curry added 24 points in the first half but unfortunately, he had to leave the game at the third quarter due to a right ankle injury.

Entering the game, Curry was seen having both ankles taped and with braces.

In an article by Inquirer, Steph Curry said that he is not seeing a scenario that he will be getting out and won’t play for some time.

“Right now, don’t see a scenario where I’ll be out,” said Curry as quoted in the article.

“Pain tolerance, all that stuff, I kind of know what I can deal with on the court,” he added.

The MVP just played under 20 minutes but still got 24 points to lead the Warriors in victory. James Harden on the other half, finished the game with 17 points.

Curry have been injured on the last 2011-12 NBA season in the ankles making him not play most of the games.

The Golden State Warriors is expected to conquer the NBA Playoffs and defend their NBA Championship crown. They also made a history by finishing the regular season with 73 wins which overpasses the ’95-’96 Chicago Bulls.

It is not clear if Curry will play for the Game 2 of versus the Rockets.
