Alma Moreno Thanked Karen Davila.
Despite being the subject of social media bashing following her appearance on veteran news anchor’s ANC show back in November, Alma Moreno has no ill feelings towards Karen Davila.
Moreno who was running as a senator graced the interview on ANC’s headstart with Davila that became a hot topic on social media with some netizens referring to it as “awkward” and “painful to watch.”
In the bright side however after she was intensively interviewed by Davila, Moreno said she is actually grateful to the news anchor.
She said that she is thanking Davila for challenging her to improve pointing to her inspirations in the television limelight who became successful politicians.
In fact, I thanked Karen for challenging me to improve myself. Inspirasyon ko sina Batangas Gov. Vilma ‘Ate Vi’ Santos at Manila Vice Mayor Isko Moreno na minaliit din noong una silang sumabak sa pulitika,” she said.
Moreno is running under the ticket of Vice President Jejomar Binay.
She said in an interview that she is hoping that her survey ratings would still improve as Election Day comes.
Moreno is confident that her nine-year experience as city councilor of Paranaque and head of the Philippine Councilors League are enough to qualify her a Senate seat.
Moreno found herself in the hot seat when asked by Davila about her future plans if she wins a slot in the senatorial slate.
Asked about her stand on Reproductive Health Bill, Moreno said she is and when asked if she agrees in all forms or with reservations, she laughingly said that she is with reservations.
But the interview became unsmooth when Davila asked Moreno of her reservations regarding the bill.
