Toddler Georgia Knibbs experienced allergic reaction after eating two peanuts.
Sandy and Tim Knibbs, a couple who lives in Caerphilly, wanted to get into the magical window to the sphere of their toddler, Georgia, so they enrolled her in a signing classes for babies – the tiny talk.
The signing class for babies teaches babies how to use sign language to express themselves since they are still in the part of being unable to speak.
The signs learned are to be used by the toddlers to express certain feelings like pain or itchiness while they still could not be aided by words.
When Georgia was already one year old, there was one time when she has really made use of the sign language that she has learned from the Tiny Talk classes.
According to the 35-year-old mom, she was eating some sandwich that time when her toddler asked for some. She gave her some and Georgia played and it them.
The next thing that happened was Georgia came to her mom shaking her hands – a sign conveying that she can feel pain.
Sandy further shared that she gave her toddler piriton and brought her into the medical doctor right away and then to the hospital.
The incident paved the way for the discovery of Georgia’s nut allergy aside from her dairy and gluten being allergens to her also.
The 35-year-old mom was really thankful that her toddler was able to use what she has learned and the Tiny Talk class really helped them get into Georgia’s world.
