Aiza Seguerra apologizes to Robin Padilla
Aiza Seguerra took to image sharing site, Instagram to express her apology to action star Robin Padilla over “hasty” comment on the actor’s pressing controversy.
The 32-year-old singer, who’s married to Liza Diño shared to his followers that she had already talked with Robin Padilla.
Here’s the apology of Aiza Seguerra on Instagram:
“Nag-usap na kami ni kuya Robin and I admit I made a hasty comment about him before checking the facts. He explained the issue to me and I realized I was wrong.
Kuya Robin, thank you for accepting my apology.
Padayon.”
Just recently, Robin Padilla drawn flak online after he allegedly posted a photo of his shaded ballot on Instagram. He immediately deleted the photo which was reportedly taken on Election Day, May 9, 2016.
Robin Padilla, who’s also an avid supporter of presidential race front-runner Rodrigo Duterte earlier took social media where he issued a statement about the pressing issue.
He also called out COMELEC to “arrest” him and put him into jail if he was found out to have come before a “precinct, voted and took pictures of an official ballot.”
Rudolf Philip B. Jurado, the legal counsel of Robin Padilla said that the actor did not violate any election rule “since it was neither an official ballot nor taken inside a voting precinct.”
Mariel Rodriguez, the wife of Robin Padilla earlier posted a message on her Instagram account to defend her husband over the controversy.
