“New Look” of John Lloyd Cruz Defended by Fellow Actor Vhong Navarro
VHONG NAVARRO – Home Sweetie Home new cast Vhong Navarro spoke on the “new look” of actor John Lloyd Cruz.
Currently, a lot of the fans and supporters are still waiting for the comeback of John Lloyd Cruz to the Philippine showbiz industry. He has yet to return to work since October 2017 when he decided to take an indefinite leave.
John Lloyd is visibly enjoying his time with his partner Ellen Adarna now and their baby boy, Elias Modesto.
Among the recent events where the actor was spotted was the Malacañang dinner which gathered some celebrities. Undeniably, many were surprised by the “new look” of John Lloyd Cruz. He looks different in his long hair.
The “new look” of John Lloyd Cruz gained different reactions from the people to which his fellow actor Vhong Navarro reacted to.
Vhong Navarro is now one of the newest cast of the ABS-CBN situational comedy show Home Sweetie Home. It was top-billed by Toni Gonzaga and John Lloyd Cruz before the latter decided to take a leave from work.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Vhong and Bayani Agbayani who is also a cast of the show admitted that they miss John Lloyd. The latter and Lloydie were able to see each other in a recent event.
“Niyakap ko nga siya at nagkaroon kami ng pagkakataon na mag-holding hands. Nag-usap kami. Sabi ko, ‘I miss you.’ Sabi niya, ‘I miss you too,'” Bayani said.
According to the comedian, he’s happy to see John Lloyd as he is one of the actors whom he looks up to because of his personality and acting skills. He is one of those hoping that the actor will return to showbiz.
For the part of Vhong Navarro, he defended John Lloyd Cruz’s “new look”. Based on the report, he stressed that the people should respect how Lloydie wants to look as we all have different wants and tastes.
“Kaibigan ko si Lloydie, so siyempre, respetuhin natin kung ano ‘yung gusto niyang itsura. Kasi kanya-kanya tayo. Like ako, ito ang gusto ko, magguguhit ng buhok. Eh ‘yun ang gusto niya, magpahaba ng buhok, respetuhin po natin ‘yun,” he said.
Currently, there are still no updates as to whether John Lloyd Cruz will be back to showbiz or not. But, undeniably, he is enjoying his time with his little family and his celebrity friends are supportive of that.
