Judy Ann Santos, who won for Best Actress at the 41st Cairo International Film Festival, dedicated her award to her mother, Carol.
“My mom is very, very happy.
She admitted that she still hasn’t ‘digested’ the good news.

Judy Ann Santos was awarded as Best Actress for her portrayal in Mindanao, which was directed by Brillante Mendoza. The said film was one of the official entries in the upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival.
