Cavite Vice Governor and actor Jolo Revilla aired his side on the news that broke out a few hours ago about his confirmed split with former girlfriend Jodi Sta. Maria saying that the ending of their romantic relationship was a mutual decision. In a statement released through entertainment website Pep.ph, Jolo Revilla was quoted as saying “It was a mutual decision.”
The 28-year-old Jolo Revilla was asked by some entertainment media about the breakup after Jodi Sta. Maria broke out the news and confirmed it during an interview on the sideline of a press conference promoting her latest film “The Achy Breaky Hearts. The announcement of the breakup confirmation by Jodi Sta. Maria was revealed on national television as she noted that are no longer together in a romantic relationship.
During the interview by Marie Lozano of ABS-CBN, Jodi Sta. Maria was quoted as saying “To set the record straight, Jolo and I are friends and we have decided to remain friends,” Sta. Maria said and added further that “If we hang out, I don’t think naman there’s anything wrong with that,” Jodi explained.
During the past few months rumored spread online that Jodi Sta. Maria and Jolo Revilla were having some bumpy relationship as the two were reported to had split up after Revilla accidentally shot himself on the chest back in February 2015. The rumored split were neither confirmed nor denied by both parties but a few months later they were spotted at a local cafe in Las Piñas.
The 34-year-old Jodi Sta. Maria did not elaborate further on her decision to call off her relationship with Jolo Revilla, the same thing with Jolo he refused to elaborate further on their decision to end their romantic relationships. According to Revilla he just needs to focus on his responsibility to the Province of Cavite. He is set to take his oath as the re-elected Vice Governor of Cavite.
