Video of Bongbong Marcos Jr “Namalengke” in Australia Goes Viral
A video of presumptive president Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr while doing shopping (namalengke) in Australia went viral on social media.
Atty. Liza Araneta-Marcos, the president-elect’s wife, highlighted some of Bongbong Marcos’ current activities while on a family trip to Australia a few weeks before they take up residence in Malacanang. Marcos and his son Vinny Marcos may be seen buying at an Australian market in a video provided by RJ “Thinking Pinoy” Nieto.
It is clear that they are the purchasers, and even the next president did not hesitate to assist with the lifting. As they walked home, the Marcos family couldn’t help but make a joke about their ‘dictator’s’ catchphrase.
“Hello nandito po si Bongbong Marcos ‘yung diktador,” said Mrs. Marcos.
“Diktador ba? O dalhin mo to,” the next president joked.
Marcos may be seen snapping a selfie with others who knew his Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) in Australia near the end of the film. The Marcos family’s video has gone popular on social media.
It drew a lot of attention from both his supporters and his detractors on the internet. The visit to Australia by presumptive president Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and his family was a private visit with no formal arrangements, according to the Australian ambassador to the Philippines.
Marcos’ victory in the presidential election was acknowledged by Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison last week. Vic Rodriguez, a spokesman for Marcos, had stated that the travel to Australia was for recuperation and family vacation.
On Thursday, Marcos is anticipated to return. A group of Filipinos in Australia demonstrated against the trip. Tyrants are not welcome in Australia, according to Anakbayan Melbourne, which is opposed to the Marcos-Duterte combo.
