Korina Sanchez Defended Husband Mar Roxas from Bashers
Veteran broadcaster Korina Sanchez defended her husband Mar Roxas from bashers asking why he is not in politics now.
The TV anchor explained why her husband Mar Roxas has given up on politics. On Father’s Day, Korina responded to queries from their supporters on Instagram asking why Mar did not run in the previous election.
Korina Sanchez uploaded a video of her husband and their twins, Pepe and Pilar, at the Father’s Day celebration. The veteran broadcaster host instructed their children on how to welcome their Papa.
Mar Roxas and the twins even participated in the biting game. She explained that the former Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary opted to spend his time with his children Pepe and Pilar. Although he made contributions to this nation and its citizens in the best way he knew how, his children Paolo, Pepe, and Pilar remain his most priceless legacies for this planet.
“A lot of people ask about why Mar isn’t in politics now. I don’t bother asking him because I know. Although I do remind him that he has done SO much for this country out of the best years of his life as it is. All 30 or so years in office. ” and Korina.
2016 saw Roxas run for president, but Rodrigo Duterte was chosen instead. The senior politician has since mostly vanished from the political scene. Many people anticipated that he would run for president in 2019 and this year, but Mar Roxas has done nothing in his political career except from backing Vice President Leni Robredo.
“So now he is again a father —- to twin 3 year old firecrackers Pepe en Pilar. Im convinced. Out of all that he has contributed the best way he knows how for the good of this country and its people, his children Paolo, Pepe en Pilar are yet his most priceless legacy for this planet. And this is now his happiest and most important position to date. ” he added.
