Dennis Trillo was recognized in his performance at the soap opera, “My Faithful Husband”, where he co-starred with ex-girlfriend Jennylyn Mercado.
Actor Dennis Trillo was awarded the Asian Star Prize 2016 at the Seoul International Drama Awards in South Korea.
The recognition was for his performance as Emman in the soap opera, “My Faithful Husband”, where he co-starred with actor Mikael Daez and ex-girlfriend Jennylyn Mercado.
In his acceptance speech, the 35-year-old actor thanked his fans and family for continued support. He also expressed gratitude for the prestigious award given by the Korean audience.
Dennis also proudly said told the Koreans how talented Filipino producers are in making worth-the-watch shows that give him inspiration as a dramatic actor.
He said: “I would like to thank the Seoul International Drama Awards for this honor and recognition. This is very special for me because it s given by the Korean people who is very well known in Korea for creating the best dramas in the world. In the Philippines, we also to do our best to create quality programs for the Filipino audience and this award will continue to inspire me to hone my craft as a dramatic actor”.
“I also would like to share this award with my home network, GMA-7, to my family, to my loved ones, to all the Filipino and my supporters”.
