Ai-Ai Delas Alas Still Resides in Quezon City After Being Banned by City Official
Comedienne Ai-Ai Delas Alas allegedly still resides in the Quezon City despite the persona non grata case filed against her.
Despite being proclaimed persona non grata by Ivy Lagman, a failed candidate for councillorship in Quezon City, Ai-Ai indicated that she will remain in the city. In an interview with the Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP), Ai-Ai said that she had lived in Quezon City since she was ten years old.
She has no plans to leave the city as a result of the legislation passed by the Quezon City Council against her. Lagman was charged with filming a spoof video of Mayor Joy Belmonte during the election campaign.
Ai-Ai appears in the video as Mayor Ligaya Delmonte in a campaign video for mayoral candidate and Anakalusugan party-list Rep. Mike Defensor. Behind the background was the QC triangle seal with the inscription ‘BBM-Sara.’
The UniTeam of President-elect Bongbong Marcos, Jr. and Vice President-elect Sara Duterte have received Ai-Ai’s endorsement. Ai-Ai Meanwhile, the comedian stated that she is prepared to defend her innocence in court.
“Hindi ako ang gumawa ng triangle seal na ginamit sa video, kahit magkakorte kami,” said Ai-Ai.
On the other hand, Ai-Ai focuses on the positive outcomes of her case, one of which is the purported increase in the ratings of her GMA-7 show. “Maraming salamat sa mga Kapuso na patuloy na nanonood ng Raising Mamay, sa mga kapwa ko Pilipino at fans na sumusuporta sa akin.”
