Alden Richards’ father defends Maine Mendoza

Alden Richards’ father defended Maine Mendoza against a basher who called the Kapuso star “pangit”.

Richard Faulkerson Sr., the father of the GMA-7 star who is dubbed as the “Ultimate Bae” recently posted a photo on the social networking site, Facebook which states; “Always, always, always be thankful.”

The photo has generated massive likes and admiration from the netizens but a certain FB user Amor Roño commented which dragged the name of his son’s co-love team.

Roño noted in a comment, “Ang pangit ni Maine.”

Richard Faulkerson Sr. on the other hand came in defense of Maine Mendoza and stated, “pasensiya na po kayo kung hindi niyo nagustuhan yung bata. GOD BLESS PO SA INYO,” in response to the basher’s statement.

It was then generated lots of reaction from the netizens who also defended the Queen of Philippine Dubsmash after the latter called her “pangit”.

Roño was then flooded with bash statement particularly fans and supporters of Maine Mendoza. She is yet to issue a statement regarding her candid statement which prodded the thousands of fans and supporters of Yaya Dub to react.

The issue was first retrieved by entertainment site, Fashion Pulis.

Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza are popularly known for their tandem, “AlDub”, short for Alden Richards and Yaya Dub.

They came to prominence on Kalyeserye portion of “Juan For All, All For One” segment of the country’s longest running noontime show, Eat Bulaga.
