Baron Geisler Starts Training For URCC Cage Match Against Kiko Matos
Controversial actor Baron Geisler starts training for the cage match arranged by Universal Reality Combat Championship (URCC) against actor Kiko Matos on June 25, 2016, in Palace Pool Club, Taguig City.
As announced on Facebook by URCC, both Geisler and Matos agreed to face each other as confirmed by the combat sports body.
Now, people have been more excited because a video was posted on Facebook wherein Baron Geisler is showing off his Taekwondo background. He is being trained by his brother Donnie, a former member of the Philippines Taekwondo team. Donnie already represented the Philippines in the 2000 and 2004 Summer Olympics.
Baron was actually a high brown belter in Taekwondo and that can still be seen in the training video, although, he looks a little slow but still, it can be seen that he still has it.
Baron Geisler has been involved in brawls and recently, between Kiko Matos during a fundraising event in a bar in Quezon City.
Meanwhile, there is still no update if Matos is also preparing for the cage match on June 25, 2016.
“Fighting in the streets or in bars is just no good. I’m no stranger to that. That’s something that shouldn’t be done anymore. That’s a thing in the past,” said URCC Founder Alvin Aguilar earlier.
As said by URCC, the proceeds of the tickets will be going to charity.
The said URCC event is said to be televised on ABS-CBN and Action.
