Bea Alonzo denies rumors linking him to John Lloyd Cruz.
Box office actress Bea Alonzo has denied rumored romance with her onscreen partner John Lloyd Cruz. The Kapamilya artist, who was previously in a relationship with Zanjoe Marudo, said that she is single but happy.
In an interview with Push, the “A Second Chance” star emphasized that she is just friends with her co-star. She also denied the reports that she was with Cruz at Balesin, saying that she was in Amanpulo that time.
“Magkaibigan naman talaga kami ni John Lloyd. I mean, we’ve been working together for so many years,” she said.
The rumored romance between the ABS-CBN stars started when they broke up with their respective partners. Cruz was also in a relationship with “Banana Split” star Angelica Panganiban.
The 32-year-old actor said also in his previous interviews that he and Alonzo are just good friends, adding that they don’t need to explain since they both know the truth.
“We don’t feel the need to talk about it. …Kasi doon sa mga taong involved doon sa issue, alam nila naman kung ano ang totoo,” he was quoted saying.
Meanwhile, Alonzo also denied the rumored ties with “Heneral Luna” actor Paulo Avelino. This was after they were spotted together in Singapore with Enchong Dee.
While she admitted that they were together, Alonzo said that she and Dee met with him along with their manager. She and Avelino are co-stars in the 2014 primetime series “Sana Bukas Pa Ang Kahapon.”
Bea Alonzo will go back on primetime starting May as she will be working for a new series with her home network.
