Her majesty is known for supporting the products that are made from ecological materials. Wherein she finds the story behind the bags beautiful. That’s why she uses them regularly.
According to a recent news report of ABS-CBN news, the online community went crazy after they found out that Filipino products are now into the closets of European royals.
Belgian Queen’s favorite bag is made by Filipino designer Amina Aranaz-Alunan.
She is the style icon behind the Aranaz line of bags graduated with honors from Istituto Marangoni in Milan and established her business with a sound social philosophy.
She is a known designer for using of indigenous and eco-friendly materials sourced from the Philippines.
Among the favorites of the Majesty are the Mira and Ginto minaudières. Which is made from snake skin, hard-shell, brass dipped in gold and adorned with semi-precious stones.
According to Amélie Vandenabeele, owner of A Bag With A Story, the official distributor of the Aranaz line in Benelux (Belgium Netherlands, Luxembourg), said that she and Amina (Aranaz) are very proud that the European royal carrying these bags.
“Amina (Aranaz) and I are very proud that the head of the country is carrying these bags. That’s really a nice advertisement for the label.” She said.
Amélie Vandenabeele added that Queen Mathilde owns at least five clutches from the Aranaz label.
Vandenabeele believes that when it comes to the quality, Filipino-made bags can compete with their European counterparts.
The hand-made and one-of-a-kind Philippine-made bags are sold by “A Bag With A Story” that have already made their way to clients in Belgium, Netherlands, Spain, Germany, France.
