BTS Suga To Enlist In Military Big Hit Music released a statement.
Announcing that the preparations for BTS rapper Suga (Min Yoon-gi) in real life military enlistment process has begun. “We would like to inform our fans that Suga has initiated the military enlistment process by applying for the termination of his enlistment postponement,” stated Big Hit Music. They also requested for the continued love and support for Suga.
As you may recall, in South Korea, it is mandatory for all citizens to enter the military between the ages of 18 and 21 for a period of 18-21 months. However, Suga was granted permission by President Moon Jae-in to postpone his enlistment after receiving the Order of Cultural Merit in 2018, until he turns 30 years old.
The agency also appeals for support and ongoing affection for Suga until he completes his service and safely returns as a superstar after his duty. While Big Hit Agency released a statement, they refrained from providing further details regarding the personal reasons.
