The incident reportedly occurred in the early hours of July 21, 2024, in a hotel room occupied by Jojo Nones and Richard “Dode” Cruz, both of whom have been suspended from their jobs pending the investigation. Sandro was staying in a hotel across the street from where the two respondents were lodged.

The released footage shows Sandro leaving his hotel room at exactly 4:39 A.M., dressed in a rolled-up black button-down shirt and black pants, minus the blazer he wore during the GMA Gala 2024. The gala event concluded around 11:30 P.M. on July 20.

The CCTV footage further shows Sandro walking from his hotel to the one where Nones and Cruz were staying, arriving in the hallway near their room at approximately 4:47 A.M. Around 5:24 A.M., an attendant was seen delivering drinks to the respondents’ hotel room, with Sandro still inside at that time. By 6:53 A.M., Sandro was seen returning to the lobby of the hotel where he was staying.

According to the National Bureau of Investigation’s (NBI) behavioral science division, Sandro’s behavior as captured on the CCTV footage indicates signs of trauma. Agent Zulikha Marie Conales commented that “his demeanor noticeably changed” after the incident. She pointed out that while Sandro’s movements were “normal and relaxed” as he headed toward the respondents’ hotel, they became “distressed and very anxious” afterward.

Agent Conales also noted that Sandro appeared “agitated” as he walked quickly and suddenly sat down by the wall near the elevator while waiting for his friends to pick him up. She added, “This is very consistent with the bureau’s finding that a traumatic event occurred at the hotel where the two subjects, whom Sandro has accused, were staying.”

Meanwhile, the respondents’ lawyer stated that their camp has not yet seen the CCTV footage obtained by the NBI from both hotels and is awaiting a copy for review.
