Masculados: Life After Singing/Dancing Stints As Members Of Sexy All-Male Group

What happened to the original members of the Masculados after they left their stints as sexy dancers and singers?

Sana Mama, Lagot Ka, Jumbo Hotdog and Libreng-libre are just some the hit novelty songs popularized by the all-male dancing/singing group tagged as the Masculados.

The said group was first introduced by veteran filmmaker, the late Maryo J. Delos Reyes way back in the early 2000.

They were originally composed of Lexter Lazaro, Enrico Mofar, Robin Robel, Rico Cordova, Orlando Sol, Ozu Ong and Dart Kmboozia.

After almost a decade, what happened to them now?

Orlando Sol has embarked in a solo career. He released an album last year under Star Music. He also had his own online drama series in the YouTube channel of the Kapamilya’s record company titled Kailan Darating Ang Ayoko Na which was also the title of his first solo single.

Enrico Mofar has been a part of some Kapuso shows such as Munting Heredera and Pare ‘Koy when the group was not active anymore. After being a member of the sexy all-male group, he ventured in business. He now owns a fitness facility which he named Masculados Gym.

Nico Cordova is a Political Science Graduate from the University of Caloocan. Among the original members of the group, he was able to continue his dancing and singing stints with the new members.

Lexter Lazaro was included in the 2007 movie of Maricel Soriano and Aga Muhlach A Love Story. He did TV shows also such as an episode in Maalaala Mo Kaya and I Dare You.

Ozu Ong was also able to be included in Masculados Dos, the second generation of the group, however, he faced a tragic death when suspected carjackers shot him in 2015.

Dart Kamboozia has been a part of movie Kamoteng Kahoy (2009) and TV shows Diva (2010), and I Dare You (2011).

Robin Robel went controversial when he was nabbed by PNP early this year for his alleged possession of prohibited drugs.
