The fans of Kapamilya actress Liza Soberano have been waiting for her to fly as the Pinay superhero Darna.
Last year, the news that she is going to be the next lucky celebrity that will portray the iconic role started to arise and much anticipation was expressed not just by her fans but as well as the fans of the superheroine.
The anticipation even hyped up when a Facebook Page posted a teaser for the next Darna film, last January, based on a previous article.
This might even go to a higher level of excitement when the Instagram fan page ‘Solid Liza Updates’ posted a photo of the actress which apparently was taken on the set of the said film.
The caption said, “Liparan na Soon #LizaSoberano #DarnaTaping.”
Due to this, a lot of fans of the most beautiful face of 2017 commented with excitement.
Instagram user @liza.bermudez expressed her joy that the star she admires will soon soar while Instagram user @lizanianz thanked all the people who showed support for the Kapamilya actress.
The said post was also shared on the site of Fashion Pulis however; the update regarding Liza’s Darna film did not received positive comments only. Some netizens expressed their dislike for the idea that Liza is portraying the iconic Pinay superhero.
There was one netizens who said that she is not fit to play the role of the Pinay superhero because she is fat and does not speaks Filipino fluently.
On the other hand, the fans of the new Darna defended her from the basher.
