A photo from GMA Artist Center’s IG account revealed that Sunshine Cruz is now in the Kapuso network and netizens reacted about this.
Sunshine Cruz is now officially a member of the Kapuso family as the official Instagram account of GMA Artist Center shared a photo of her for her upcoming project in the network.
In the photo, she was together with her fellow former star in the Kapamilya network Bing Loyzaga.
The caption of the post said, “LOOK: The stars of GMA’s upcoming series ‘Karibal Ko Ang Aking Ina.’ Coming soon!”
Sunshine was also with Zoren Legaspi and young stars of the Kapuso network, David Licauco, Bea Binene and Ben Alves.
The said photo from the GMA Artist Center IG post was also shared on the site of Fashion Pulis.
Several netizens were shocked upon knowing that the former Kapamilya star, whose latest stint was in ‘Wildflower’ with Maja Salvador, has already transferred to its rival TV network.
There was one netizen who questioned why Sunshine decided to accept the offer from GMA for a new soap opera when her role in ‘Wildflower’ was really remarkable to the viewers.
This particular comment was answered by another netizen by pointing out that the actress has now exclusive contract with ABS-CBN while the other one said that it is just okay because Sunshine’s acting is not that good.
One netizen expressed understanding on the situation of stars in transferring to other networks which is just sort of a cycle.
Another netizen also expressed the same thought and pointed that among seasoned actors network transfer is no big deal.
