The word war between Kris Aquino and Mocha Uson had affected several people from different walks of life.
Celebrities and political personalities had already expressed their thoughts about this controversy.
Several ordinary netizens also took their sides. Those who sided with Kris commended her courage in defending the reputation of her father Ninoy Aquino.
On the other hand, there were netizens who defended Mocha for justifying President Rodrigo Duterte’s “kissing scene” through Ninoy’s old video.
Even people from media entities expressed their views about this, just like Bandera entertainment columnist Alex Brosas.

In his recent article, he said that the most remarkable aria of the social media queen to the appointed government official is this:
“She can say anything and everything. I’m not even gonna bring up the fact na I read, ‘Sige na, magtuos na kayo at magkita na kayo para suot mo yung Gucci leather jacket mo, habang yung kanya fake.’ Deadma na. Move on.”
Clearly, the columnist admires the move of Kris of not stooping down to the level of her opponent.
He also said that Mocha said it right when she stated that, “it is not about Kris Aquino”.
For Brosas, it is about the delusion of someone working in the government that thinks all she does is for the greater good.
The entertainment columnist also pointed out that this is all about Mocha’s high regards of herself even though she is dim-witted.

Because of the word war between Kris and Mocha, Brosas wrote a poem about them which he titled with “War of Roses”, based on the article.
The content of the poem is a comparison between two women fighting for their views, values and beliefs.
