Regine Velasquez was asked about reunion with former ‘SOP’ singers and she quips about Ogie Alcasid and Jaya, “Nasa Channel 2 na sila, mga bastos kasi sila.”
‘The Clash’ host Regine Velasques quips about her husband OPM icon Ogie Alcasid and Soul Diva Jaya who are now in the Kapamilya network.
It can be recalled that they were together in GMA’s Sunday musical show ‘SOP’.
In a segment called ‘Back-to-Back-to-Back’, the three of them had vocal showdown together with Lani Misalucha, Janno Gibbs and Cacai Velasquez.
After 8 years since ‘SOP’ aired it’s final episode, fans of the show have been wanting to see their perform together again in one stage, based on the article published in PEP.
In an interview, Regine and Lani, who is now one of the judges in ‘The Clash’, were asked if there will be a possibility that ‘Back-to-Back-to-Back’ will happen once again.

The Asia’s Songbird jokingly said, “You’ll never know kasi iniwan na nila tayong lahat, nasa Channel 2 na sila, mga bastos sila.”
Her jest did not end there as she specifically pointed out her husband Ogie Alcasid.
“Lalo na yung asawa ko, nuknukan ng bastos, in real life, huh,” the Kapuso singer said while laughing.
Ogie is now a mentor/judge in ‘Your Face Sound Familiar’ and ‘Tawag Ng Tanghalan’ of ‘It’s Showtime’ just like Jaya.
Aside from the two of them, Janno Gibbs has been appearing in various shows in the Kapamilya network.

On a more serious note, Lani said that no one really knows that their reunion might happen in the future.
“Ako rin, gusto ko rin naman na mangyari ‘yon, you know, with Janno, Jaya, Ogie, Regine, Cacai,” the Asia’s Nightingale said.
However, she said that she hopes it will happen soon, based on the article.
“Ayaw ko namang mapanood ng mg tao na uugod-ugod na tayo bago mangyari yun,” she added.
From time to time, they still see each other and eat dinner together while catching up with the happenings in their lives.
