Singer Richard Merck was rushed to the hospital and here is his current health condition.
His sister Rachel Ann Wolfe shared what happened to the male singer.
Through Rachel’s recent post on Facebook, she said that her brother is already out of the intensive care unit (ICU).
She thanked everyone who prayed for Richard.
Based on the report from Bandera, the brother of the singer found him alone in his home.
Richard Merck was immediately brought to the Medical City.
“He couldn’t talk, he couldn’t walk and would not eat. His blood pressure was through the roof,” Rachel shared.
According to her, Richard’s “CT scan showed that he has cerebral atrophy closely related to symptoms of aging, cardiovascular disease, and distress.”
The singer almost suffered a stroke as what his sister shared.
Aside from this health condition, Richard also has underlying illnesses such as Diabetes and he suffered from a flesh eating bacteria that affected his foot almost having it amputated.
Though the singer is already out of the ICU, Rachel said that battle of his brother still continues, especially on the emotional and mental aspects.
“His mental health is a critical part of his overall wellness. Depression has become an epidemic. We all know that. My brother Richard is not in good spirits. I know and believe that with genuine love from his family and friends he will get through this. Depression is a major illness that shuts down the body’s spirit,” she said.
For her, one thing is keeping her brother to continue to fight and it is his love for singing, based on the report.
So advised Richard to keep on singing.
