Teddy Locsin appeared to react to the immigration issue involving Tony Labrusca
Department of Foreign Affairs Secretary Teddy Locsin, Jr. apparently, reacted to the immigration issue involving Glorious actor Tony Labrusca.
The 23-year-old actor was under fire for his “rude” attitude towards the personnel in Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
Apparently, Tony had a problem with his passport and he tweeted that the Philippine immigration just gave him 30 days in the country.
This received criticism from a netizen who said that the actor exhibited ill behavior towards the immigration officers.
Based on the report from Pang-Masa, DFA Sec. Teddy Locsin, Jr. reacted to this.
Reportedly, the secretary commented “just deport him” to Tony’s tweet about the incident.
Another reply came from Locsin, “It is overcrowded” when a netizen commented that the actor should not be allowed to enter the country.
When a netizen gave a background about Tony Labrusca that he is a talent of ABS-CBN and he is the star of the movie Glorious, the DFA Secretary commented “Who he?” and “Still have no idea who he is”.
Aside from this, a netizen tagged Locsin on a campaign photo of the actor for a clothing brand.
The reaction of the Secretary to this was “His clothes are too big for him.”
With regards to this issue, the parents of the young actor have different reactions.
Reaction from parents
Tony’s dad, Boom Labrusca apologized on behalf of what his son did.
“Hi, mam, kung anu man po naging problema, humihingi po ako ng despensa sa inyo…pasensya napo kayo mam, btw nag pm po ako,” Boom said.
On the other hand, Tony Labrusca’s mom Angel Jones said it was fake news.
“Everyone will always have something to say no matter what you do. Can’t please them all. It’s sad that people love fake news and enjoy hating people that do well. You can tell a lot about a person based on the gossip they listen to and stories believe,” Angel said, based on the report.
