GMA 7 has random drug testing
GMA 7 or the Kapuso network conducts random drug testing among the employees of the TV station.
The issue about drug testing among personalities in show business resurfaced when the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) stated that 31 celebrities are linked to illegal drugs.
Due to this, based on a previous report, it is suggested that celebrities should submit themselves to a drug test.

It is not inevitable that some celebrities are getting involved in prohibited substances.
There had been some showbiz personalities who expressed that they are willing to have a drug test such as Kapamilya actor Daniel Padilla.

Meanwhile, Kapuso actress Solenn Heussaff underwent the process last 2016. Another talent from GMA 7, Dennis Trillo was also found negative when he did the drug test.
In line with the alarming 31 celebrities among the narco list of PDEA, the Kapuso network released a statement regarding the compulsory drug testing in showbiz.
According to the management of the TV station, they are already conducting drug testing in the past. It is part of their rules and regulations in the network.
The station also stated that they are strict when it comes to the issue of illegal drugs, based on the article published on the site of Bandera.
“We have been conducting regular random drug testing among our employees and talents to ensure a safe and productive work environment for all,” GMA 7 stated.
