The “bangayan” between Claudine Barretto and Raymart Santiago received a reaction from Randy Santiago
OPM singer Randy Santiago reacted to the “bangayan” of his younger brother Raymart Santtiago with ex-wife Claudine Barretto.
Raymart and Claudine got married in 2006. However, the actress admitted the reason why their marriage failed.
“Rebound kasi. I was so sad. I was heartbroken. Namatayan ako tapos there was somebody who was there na parang knight in shining armor. Parang I played safe,” she said in a report from ABS-CBN back in 2016.
During her recent interview on Tonight With Boy Abunda for her showbiz comeback, Claudine said that she will just join the cast of Ang Probinsyano when Raymart is no longer there.
However, the actress said that she is open to work with the teleserye’s leading man Coco Martin.
In line with this issue between the former couple, Randy Santiago was asked to react.
The singer said that he is not intervening with his brother’s conflict with Claudine.
“Buhay nila ‘yan. Matatanda na sila. Saka away nila ‘yan,” Randy said, based on the article from Bandera.
Meanwhile, he said that he has not yet seen the actress in the ABS-CBN compound.
“Nag-MMK siya pero sa labas naman ang taping noon. At kahit gumawa siya ng movie with Piolo (Pascual), sa labas naman kukunan ‘yun. Hindi sa studio. Kaya parang wala naman chance na magkita kami,” he said.
Randy is now one of the judges in Its Showtime‘s Tawag ng Tanghalan. This means he spends most of his time in the studio of the Kapamilya network.
Randy Santiago also shared that he was the one who made the song for Ang Probinsyano, based on the article.
“Ako ang gumawa ng kanta sa Probinsyano. Binigay ko ‘yun sa kanila,” he shared when he was asked when he will join the cast since Raymart and Rowell Santiago are already there.
