Co-star of Eddie Garcia in ‘Rainbow’s Sunset’ was devastated over what happened to him
Veteran theater actor Tony Mabesa was devastated over the accident that happened to his Rainbow’s Sunset co-star Eddie Garcia on the set of Rosang Agimat.
Several celebrities in the entertainment industry expressed worry and sadness upon learning the accident that happened last June 8.
At the time of writing, Eddie is still in critical condition but his family refused to take away his life support. On the other hand, the family of the veteran actor-director agreed to the DNR or “do not resuscitate” order.

Amid Eddie’s condition, outpouring prayers from him kept on coming from fans and fellow celebrities.
One of the celebrities who expressed devastation to what happened is Tony Mabesa, based on the report from PEP.
When asked what his reaction to what happened to his co-star, Tony said, “Devastated. And angry in a sense, na bakit naman napatid [sa kable] ang Eddie Garcia? E, alam naman nila, action scene… dapat yun, kini-clear!”
He added that if Eddie is alright, he will be the first one to arrive to accept his Best Actor nomination certificate.

Meanwhile, Tony also shared his experience working with Eddie Garcia and Gloria Romera in Rainbow’s Sunset.
He said that his fellow veteran actor has difficulty memorizing the lines but director Joel Lamangan was patience with them.
However, he said the Gloria can still memorize her lines perfectly. For Tony, working with them is a great experience, based on the report.
“I’ve worked with them many, many times, at sabi ko nga, there’s a saying sa theater, ‘You’re only as good as your co-actor.’ So, nadadala ka pag magagaling ang kaeksena mo,” he shared.
