The “hugot” of Marjorie Barretto was remembered amid the Bea-Gerald-Julia issue
Marjorie Barretto has a “hugot” in the past which was recalled amid the issue involving Bea Alonzo, Gerald Anderson, and her daughter Julia Barretto.
The said issue has been creating a loud buzz on social media. The three Kapamilya stars who are involved with this have already spoken their sides. Amid the controversy, other celebrities have also expressed their sides. Several friends of Bea showed support to her on social media while the family of Julia kept on defending her against the bashing, especially that she is accused of being the third party in the Gerald-Bea breakup.
However, Julia’s aunt, Gretchen and Claudine Barretto took the side of Bea. Through their Instagram accounts, the Barretto siblings showed their support but not to their niece. In line with this, Julia even received more bashing, much more when she directly addressed her recent IG post to Bea.
With all of the clamor on social media, entertainment columnist Ronnie Carrasco recalled a “hugot” that Marjorie Barretto said in the past. “If a guy leaves you, shame on him…but if you take him back, shame on you!” she reportedly said in a certain group conversation with Dennis Padilla, her former partner, and then-lovebirds Ai Ai delas Alas and Miguel Vera.
They talked about life and relationship. Marj said those meaningful lines which Carrasco thought would be fit for the situation of Bea Alonzo now. It can be recalled that Bea and Gerald also broke up in the past when the latter sort of “nagloko”. According to the entertainment columnist, Marjorie could offer the said quote to Bea. However, this will also mean that she is telling her daughter Julia to go for the relationship with Gerald, based on the article.
