How true is it that the mother of Kapamilya actress Arci Muñoz is the reason behind she broke up with her non-showbiz boyfriend Anthony Ng?
Arci started her career in the Philippine entertainment industry when she joined a talent search. Fortunately, that opened doors for her in showbiz. Aside from acting, she is also the lead singer of the alternative band called Philia.
In 2017, her fans got ecstatic when she shared that she and Anthony were already a couple. She shared several sweet photos of them. However, Arci is not so indulgent in sharing more details of her love life. Nonetheless, it can be seen that she was happy with her non-showbiz boyfriend back then.

On the other hand, during a recent interview on Tonight with Boy Abunda, the Kapamilya actress was emotional as she revealed that she and Anthony already broke up. Arci Muñoz not to reveal the reason why they broke up but she directly answered if there’s a possibility that they would get back together. “Nothing like that po. It’s shallow, it’s just really… maybe it’s not the right time,” she said.

Based on the article by TV host/columnist Boy Abunda in Pilipino Star Ngayon, there were people who were speculating that the mother of Arci has something to do with the breakup. However, the actress/singer disproved the allegations. “Wala po pero siyempre kasi nga ‘pag magulang ka, gusto mo talaga ‘yung best. I understand my mom,” she said.
