This is the story of the long-distance love affair of Lovi Poe with a British scientist
Kapuso actress Lovi Poe shared the long-distance love affair she has with British scientist Monty Blencowe during a recent interview.
Social media followers of the daughter of Fernando Poe, Jr. have noticed that she already featured the guy on her Instagram posts several times now. Just recently, the actress confirmed her relationship with him, based on the report from Philippine Entertainment Portal.
In line with her confirmation, Lovi also shared the details of how they met each other. She said, “I met him in L.A. He’s a scientist, he’s a medical scientist.” Their common friend introduced them to each other. When asked if Monty is her boyfriend now, she answered with a laugh, “Basta special iyon.”

Lovi Poe also said that she really does not know how long they are together now. “I don’t know, since I was there,” the actress said. Before taking a vacation in Los Angeles, she and the scientist already knew each other. Now that she is back in the Philippines to focus on her showbiz career, apparently, they will have a long-distance relationship or LDR.
Despite that, the actress believes that this kind of relationship is possible and it can work. “I believe it’s possible. It’s something that I’ve seen some of my friends go through,” she shared. With this, she shared that they have a kind of set-up when it comes to communicating with each other. She believes the vitality of communication and compromise with it comes to LDR.
When asked about their long-term plans, Lovi Poe said she does not want to use the word “long-term”. However, just like most of the people, she is also hoping that things between them will turn out well in the future, based on the report. She added that people would not enter into something if they don’t feel that she or he is the right person.
