Mayor Isko Moreno is one of the actors in the upcoming movie with Coco Martin for this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival.
Mayor Isko Moreno made a comeback with their movie entry “3pol Trobol: Huli Ka Balbon” with Coco Martin. According to him, he thanked Coco for the opportunity to make a comeback in the film industry.
“I’m grateful to Mr. Coco Martin and the staff, they included me in the movie (MMFF), few scenes as myself, no, the same position as (I am now),” Mayor Isko said in his speech during Christmas tree lighting at Manila Hotel. He also said that he will give his talent fee straightly to his beneficiaries, the Philippine General Hospital.
“Tapos ‘yun sabi ko sa kanila, ibigay nila sa PGH (Philippine General Hospital) ‘yung yadba (bayad) nila sa akin,” Mayor Isko said. (And then I said to them, they will give as much as they would pay me to the Philippine General Hospital.)
Despite his short time for his movie comeback, he admitted that he missed acting in films. Aside from his comeback, he also thanked private groups for choosing him as a model.
“Nakaka-miss… Kaya nga ako natutuwa noong artista ako, hindi ako naging model e’ ngayon kaliwa’t kanan at sawakali meron e’,” he said. (It’s been a while… That’s why I’m happy despite I’m a former actor, not even a model either, yet anyone wants me to do these jobs at this point.)
